Polymerization inhibitor recommendation ——OMNISTAB IN 510

2021.01.25

Before introducing our products, we would like to have a brief introduction of polymer inhibitor--Polymerization inhibitor is an industrial additive, usually used to prevent the progress of polymerization. Inhibitor molecules react with chain free radicals to form non-radical substances or low-activity free radicals that cannot be initiated, thereby terminating the polymerization.

Mechanism of Inhibitor

Monomer conversion

Ⅰ No polymerization inhibitor and retarder

Ⅱ Add polymerization inhibitor

Ⅲ Add retarder

Ⅳ Both inhibition and retardation effects

t1  Induction period

OMNISTAB IN 510 is our representative aromatic nitroso polymerization inhibitor product. Its main function is to extend the storage time of UV formulations. It can prevent self-polymerization of UV coatings and ink formulations during storage. It is suitable for coatings ,adhesives,Photoresist, ink and unsaturated polyester resin, vinyl monomer and acrylate oligomer.

Structural formula:

Chemical Name:

Tris(N-nitroso-N-phenylhydroxylamine) aluminum salt

CAS Number:

15305-07-4

Molecular formula:

C18H15AlN6O6

Molecular weight:

438.33

OMNISTAB IN 510 is a kind of white to light yellow powder. It is generally dissolved in the corresponding monomer to prepare a solution for use. It can form water-insoluble precipitates with copper, iron, aluminum, titanium, etc., and produce effects, such as the tris(N-nitroso-N-phenylhydroxylamine)aluminum salt precipitation, which can be used as an inhibitor for UV formulations. The effect of the inhibitor is better than that of the conventional inhibitors such as hydroquinone and p-methoxyphenol. It can be used to prolong the storage time of olefin resin. It is widely used in UV ink, UV coating, UV adhesive, photoresist, unsaturated polyester resin, vinyl monomer and acrylate oligomer, etc.
