OMNISTAB® Nucleating agent 3988 is a kind of Sorbitol class nucleating agent. It could provide the crystal nucleus to promote polymer crystallization, thus improve the product hardness, dimensional stability, transparency and surface gloss.

OMNISTAB® Nucleating agent 3988 is suitable for transparent plastic products, such as medical supplies, stationery, beverage packaging, transparent cups, bowls, pots, plates, CD cases, etc. OMNISTAB® Nucleating agent 3988 is also used for high temperature disinfection products and transparent PP sheet/ tube. OMNISTAB® Nucleating agent 3988 can be dry mixed with PP for direct use, like made into 2.5-5.0% masterbatch before use. Its recommended dosage is 0.2-0.4%, and the processing temperature is 190-260℃.
