OMNISTAB®UV1 High-efficiency liquid UV absorber for polyurethane

OMNISTAB®UV1 is a high-efficiency liquid methimazole UV absorber, which can effectively absorb ultraviolet light from 240 to 330 nm, and almost completely absorb it in the band of 300 to 330 nm. In this band, polyurethane materials are easily degraded by radiation, and OMNISTAB®UV1 can effectively inhibit the photocatalytic degradation of polymers, enhance the color stability of products, and extend the service life. Especially in polyurethane products such as microcellular foam, whole skin foam, traditional hard foam, semi-hard foam, soft foam, fabric coating, some adhesives, sealants and elastomers have excellent light stability.

Specifically, OMNISTAB®UV1 is used in PU resin, PU leather, PU soft foam, and can be used together with OMNISTAB®LS292 and OMNISTAB®AN1135, etc., which has a synergistic effect.

In addition, due to its excellent UV absorption properties and good compatibility with epoxy resin, OMNISTAB®UV1 can also be widely used in adhesives, potting adhesives, crystal drops and other materials, especially for outdoor use and products with high requirements for light resistance. The recommended addition amount is 0.3-0.5% of the total.
