ØHow to get high-quality transparent PC?
Although PC has excellent mechanical and optical properties, its light resistance still needs to be improved. When PC long-term exposures to UV light, it will turn yellow, even degradation and brittle. This is mainly because it will start photooxygen aging reaction, when PC materials are subjected to heat, oxygen and light at the same time.
By adding UV absorbers can block the sensitive UV band of PC materials, thus reducing the speed of its light aging reaction, in addition, if used in combination with light stabilizers and antioxidants, it will further prolong the service life of products, so as to avoid the problems of yellowing and embrittlement.
