OMNISTAB® UV405 is recommended for coating applications on polar substrates, including polyurethanes, epoxies, acrylics and more. It is also widely used in wood coatings, powder coatings, automotive coatings and high performance industrial coatings. Compared to conventional triazine UV absorbers, Eurostar® UV405 has reactive hydroxyl groups that attach to the polymer chain in systems where crosslinking can occur, ultimately exhibiting longer term aging resistance.
