Omnistab AN9128 is a new type of phosphite antioxidant with high molecular weight. Its appearance is free flowing white powder. AN9128 has low volatility, high phosphorus content (7.3%) and excellent heat resistance due to its large molecular weight and molecular structure.

According to above experimental data, it’s obviously that AN9128 can significantly improve the thermal aging stability of the material at high temperature. Thanks to its larger molecular weight, it has a higher melting point, higher Thermogravimetric temperature. So it could perform more stable and better migration resistance in system.

vExcellent hydrolysis resistance
Recent hydrolysis resistance tests have shown that AN9128 retains good durability and hydrolysis resistance even when exposed to condition at 85% relative humidity. AN9128 does not exhibit coking like other phosphite additives. This prevents stains from appearing on the polymer and clogging the filter in the extrusion system.

²AN9128 is used in HDPE to provide excellent color and melt stability, and could get a better results at lower dosage.
²OMISTAB AN9128 is popular in LLDPE processing due to its exceptional high temperature stability, which effectively controls LLDPE’s color and melt index during multiple extrusions.
²AN9128 is suitable for PC and other engineering plastics that need to be processed at high temperature. Most phosphite additives will decompose or volatilize, so these are not suitable as processing stabilizers. But AN9128 can be used for temperature resistant polymers, such as PA (nylon), polyester and polyether, etc.
