1-Bromobutane is intermediate of bactericide dimethirimol and ethirimol. Used as a rare element extractant, alkylating agent and organic synthesis raw materials, also used as medicine, dye, raw material of sprces and pesticide intermediates. Used in the sunthesis of anesthetic tetracaine hydrochloride. Can be used as colvents, refrigerants and fumigants.
