²What is infrared ray?

Near infrared band (760 nm-2500 nm)
Mid-infrared band (2.5 μm-25 μm)

1. Another major use of NIR Absorbers is near infrared anti-counterfeiting ink.
The near infrared anti-counterfeiting ink contains one or several NIR Absorbers and can absorb near infrared rays in 700nm-1100nm. If the anti-counterfeiting product prints this kind of ink, the special patterns can be observed under the irradiation of the detection instrument, although there is no trace under the sun.
The near infrared anti-counterfeiting ink has the advantages of strong anti-counterfeiting, convenient use and detection. Its application is almost independent of any printing conditions, so it can be widely used for anti-counterfeiting printing of bills, securities, trademarks, commemorative coins, etc.
vOMNISTAB® NIR788
NIR788 is especially suitable for anti-counterfeiting ink. It has a narrow absorption range and high absorption rate. Products with NIR788 will show a high sensitivity during detection.
vOMNISTAB® H-3
H-3 is a dark green powder, which can absorb near infrared rays in 750-1050nm. Its peak absorption is 975nm and it has strong light and thermal resistance.
