PU soft foam refers to flexible polyurethane with certain elasticity, commonly known as PU sponge/foam. This kind of foam plastic has good elasticity, generally has the properties of low density, good elastic recovery, sound absorption, heat preservation, etc.

> During the production process, due to the PU foam need high temperature to foaming, which triggers the aging and yellowing, while the core burning phenomenon occurs in serious cases inside the PU foam.

> Exposure to nitrogen oxides, such as yellowing caused by NOx, especially hindered phenol and amine additives will accelerate the yellowing.

> When PU foam is exposed to UV light for long-term, photo-oxidation aging will occur.
