Empowering Dreams, Sharing Care – The 11th Deltachem Encouragement Scholarship Award Ceremony Concludes Successfully

On December 17, Qingdao Deltachem Specialty Chemicals Group held the 11th Deltachem Encouragement Scholarship Award Ceremony. Mr. Zou Chao, General Manager of Deltachem, attended the event and, together with Mr. Ren Long, Director of the Student Affairs Office at School of Economics, and Ms. Lin Guohong, Director of the Student Affairs Office at College of Materials Science and Engineering, presented the scholarship to 30 outstanding students from School of Economics, College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and College of Materials Science and Engineering of Qingdao University, with scholarships totaling CNY 50,000.

Established in 2014, Deltachem Encouragement Scholarship has now entered its eleventh year, awarding nearly CNY 400,000 in total financial aid and helping close to two hundred students. As an outstanding enterprise founded by alumni, Deltachem has always remained committed to giving back to society and its alma mater while pursuing its own growth. Mr. Zou has long firmly believed that education is the key to transforming lives and driving social progress. Through the Scholarship, Deltachem aims to provide practical support and encouragement for those students who cherish dreams and work diligently.

At the ceremony, Director Ren from School of Economics praised the company's commitment to social responsibility and, on behalf of the school, extended gratitude to the alumni enterprise for its continued support. He also encouraged the students to persist in their efforts, study diligently, and strive for progress, urging them not to live up to the trust and support of the alumni enterprise and to pass on this spirit of kindness to others. After visiting the company, Director Lin from the College of Materials Science and Engineering expressed the hope that the school and the enterprise could collaborate closely to jointly explore new models for cultivating talents in chemical engineering.

Meanwhile, Deltachem has served as an internship base for Qingdao University for eleven years running, bridging the gap between campus life and professional practice, and offering students invaluable hands-on experience and ample room for growth. We are confident that through the continued partnership between Deltachem and the university, an increasing number of students will carve out their own paths to success, repaying the support they have received with tangible contributions and moving forward with unwavering resolve—fully living up to the high expectations of both their alma mater and society.
