Deltachem Supports Qingdao University of Science and Technology’s High-Level Football Team with Dedicated Award Fund

Recently, Qingdao Deltachem Specialty Chemicals Group and the College of Physical Education at Qingdao University of Science and Technology jointly held a pre-tournament mobilization meeting for the university's high-level football team in preparation for upcoming provincial and national competitions, alongside the inauguration ceremony of the Deltachem Specialty Chemicals Award Fund. This event marks an important step forward in Deltachem’s commitment to supporting university sports and deepening industry-university collaboration.

Representatives from local business and chambers of commerce —including Mr. Zhai Shanjin, Honorary President of the Zibo Chamber of Commerce in Qingdao; Mr. Zou Chao, Chairman of Qingdao Deltachem Specialty Chemicals Group; and Mr. Hu Xiaolei, General Manager of Qingdao Daqi Football Club—attended the event. Together with Dean Zhang Xiao and Vice Dean Jia Yi of the College of Physical Education, as well as the entire coaching staff of the football team, they rallied the athletes and witnessed the official launch of the Award Fund.

At the ceremony, Mr. Zou Chao, Chairman of Deltachem, stated that the company has always been committed to supporting youth development and the advancement of sports. The establishment of the Award Fund represents a significant step in Deltachem’s efforts to fulfill its social responsibilities and support the integration of education and athletics.

In addition, Mr. Zou revealed that beyond financial support, Deltachem plans to further strengthen its collaboration with the university in areas such as training equipment, internship and employment opportunities, and sport event collaboration, with the goal of building a sustainable and mutually beneficial industry-university collaboration.

During the ceremony, Dean Zhang Xiao of the College of Physical Education at Qingdao University of Science and Technology presented Chairman Zou Chao with a donation certificate bearing the words "A Role Model in Public Welfare and a Devoted Supporter of Education," in recognition and gratitude for Deltachem's generous contribution.

In his address, Dean Zhang highly commended Deltachem for its support of the university's athletic programs. He noted that the establishment of the Award Fund would instill confidence in the athletes as they prepare for competitions, and further enhance the university's competitive sports program.

On behalf of the entire team, player representative Sun Ming expressed sincere thanks to the company for its support, and pledged that the team would give its all, compete with integrity and deliver their best performance—living up to the expectations of both the university and the company.
