Automobile dashboard

Instrument panels of automobiles are generally made of ABS/PC, reinforced PP and SMA. These materials are heat-resistant, impact-resistant advantages, and have good overall performance.

 

Steering wheel

The steering wheel is generally made of heat& cold-resistant and wear-resistant materials. Therefore,modified PP, PVC, PU, ABS are widely used in this area, the skeleton is generally selected as steel skeleton. Glass fiber reinforced PA is also used to replace the steel to achieve lightweight.

 

Door interior panel

Similar to dashboard materials, it is also made of skeleton, foam and leather. The skeleton is molded from ABS, and the leather is usually a synthetic leather, a composite of PU foam and knit polyester fiber.

 

Door handles

Mostly use PC, ABS, PC/ABS, PC/PBT, PA and other compliant materials. Take Audi and Volkswagen as an example, the interior door handles use plating grade PC/ABS.
